Through intriguing storytelling and stunning photography, viewers find out about the people (past and present), plants, animals and archaeology of arid regions throughout the New World.

Expect to see four programs in the deserts of Chile (including the Atacama Desert – the driest place on Earth – where it hasn’t rained a drop in many generations). You’ll also visit Patagonia, Argentina, the Sea of Cortez, and the desert portions of the San Andreas Fault. Yetman and the crew spent much of 2007 traveling to these far-flung locations.

Tucson Remembers Tucson Remembers "They don't call it the 'forgotten war' for nothing, nobody remembers Korea." Korean War Veteran Bill Williams, U.S.A.F.M

Tucson Remembers: The Korean War

Korea was the un-won war that never ended, no one even wanted to pronounce it a war: it was "The Korean Conflict," a "Police Action" and finally, "the Forgotten War." But no matter the name, it was still wounding, hurtful and fatal, killing tens of thousands U.S. soldiers and effecting thousands more lives at home.

Take a journey with Tucson residents as they talk about their memories of the war and of the Tucson area in the late 1940s and early 1950s as young men from Arizona and all over the country were being shipped off to defend South Korea against the advancing Red Army.
