Many people find it difficult to isolate themselves from others while attempting to avoid COVID-19. University of Arizona communications researcher Kory Floyd describes why human contact is so essential to our everyday mental health. He also suggests alternatives for those who feel uncomfortable separated from friends and family members during the pandemic.

Kory Floyd spoke with Leslie Tolbert, Ph. D. Regents professor emerita in Neuroscience at the University of Arizona.
