Dr. Scar

It has been more than 40 years since Jack Jacobson last donned the makeup of Tucson's "Kindly, Lovable" TV horror movie host. The broadcast icon died Monday. Hear him reflect on the past, in a 2007 interview with Robert Rappaport.

The interview, first recorded and aired on Arizona Spotlight in 2007, traces Jacobson's early days in television as TV's iconic late-night scary movie host. Click the "Audio Player" to your right to listen (after watching the classic video below).
