Roger McGuinn co-founded the group that would become the Byrds with Gene Clark and David Crosby in 1964. Since then he's spent his life writing and playing countless memorable songs, often seeking out the buried treasures of American folk music. He says that several disparate musical influences have shaped the sonic explorations of his career, but he's always remained true to his folk roots. Roger McGuinn visited the AZPM studios, where he talked with Mark McLemore, shared stories from the glory days of The Byrds, and played an acoustic set of famous tunes like "Eight Miles High" and "Mr. Tambourine Man."
