- This week, explore some of the untold stories of living with autism, from people in our community who have first-hand experience. From understanding that first diagnosis, to learning to see the world in a new way, they share heartfelt stories about their lives.
The participants are Brie Seward, Jeff Vogan, Hattie Groskind, and Diane Kent, representing the Autism Society of Southern Arizona. The Society’s 14th annual Autism Virtual Walk and Interactive Resource Fair - with exhibitors and live discussion panels - is happening online Saturday, September 26th. - And, a conversation with author Craig Johnson, creator of the best-selling series about fictional detective Sheriff Walt Longmire Johnson still lives in a small town in Wyoming with a population of less than 25 people, and he will be hosting an online event next week to celebrate the release of Next to Last Stand” the latest Longmire mystery. Johnson tells Mark that centering the story around one of American history's most legendary paintings proved to be a real change of pace.
The Poisoned Pen bookstore in Scottsdale presents Craig Johnson and some of his TV friends as part of a virtual event next week, celebrating the release of the latest Walt Longmire novel, Next to Last Stand. It’s happening on Tuesday, September 22, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.
