The Buzz made its premiere on August 3, 2018, airing a podcast-only episode where we talked with educators ahead of a new school year. It made its on-air debut later that month, and has been on-the-air ever since. Over that time, the people who work on the show have spent some time with a variety of people, foreign dignitaries, high-ranking public officials, scholars, a Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, and lots of people whose lives are affected by the news.
As we mark this milestone, we brought together the staff who have put together most of the episodes: host Christopher Conover, producer Zac Ziegler, former producer Ariana Brocious and fill-in producer Paola Rodriguez. They talk about how the show came to be, what goes in to making an episode, and some of their favorite memories (good and bad) of making the show.
