Three Republicans, Margaret Garcia Dugan, John Huppenthal and Beth Price are vying to win the GOP Primary for Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Three Republicans, Margaret Garcia Dugan, John Huppenthal and Beth Price are vying to win the GOP Primary for Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Margaret Garcia Dugan, who is second in command at the Arizona Department of Education says if elected she will require all schools to enforce a statewide attendance policy for students. John Huppenthal, chair of the state Senate Education Committee says if elected he will require that every student is ready by the end of the third grade. Beth Price, a retired administrator for Central Arizona College says she want better security for all Arizona students.
