Police Constable Jo Gillespie is devastated when her husband is killed under suspicious circumstances. Watch all three episodes beginning Friday at 9 p.m. on PBS 6.

Police Constable Jo Gillespie (Sheridan Smith) is devastated when her detective husband, Ryan, is shot dead in an abandoned warehouse. But her grief gives way to shock when she learns that Ryan was working undercover at the time of his murder. Jo struggles to remain strong for her family as she questions whether she ever really knew her husband.

Although the police brass urge her to stay out of the investigation, Jo begins to doubt her fellow officers and searches for the killer with the help of her handsome colleague (Matthew McNulty). As Ryan’s secrets come to light, Jo’s quest turns dangerous, and she fears she can’t trust even those closest to her.

Episode 1
PC Jo Gillespie is distraught when her husband, Ryan, is found shot dead in an industrial warehouse. When she learns that he was killed while working undercover, Jo questions how well she really knew her husband. Dismayed by her fellow officers’ inattention to the case, she sets out to find the murderer on her own.

Episode 2
With the chief suspect in custody, it seems that the case has been closed, but Jo remains skeptical. When she meets Ryan’s former boss at the funeral, her misgivings appear justified. Jo digs deeper into her husband’s past as more of Ryan’s secrets come to light.

Episode 3
Still reeling from her discovery, Jo shifts her focus from the investigation to caring for her family. But when the body of a 17-year-old girl turns up with a possible connection to Ryan’s death, Jo can’t shake her need to learn the truth.
