Still Have Your Tucson Ballot? Here's Where to Take It

City Council primary races to be decided today; winners move on to November ballot.

Today is Primary Election Day for Tucson's City Council Candidates.

There are two contested races: Democrats in Ward 3 and Greens in Ward 6. The winners of each race will go on to face candidates from other parties in the November general election. The primary is restricted to voters who live in the wards up for election this year. The general election will be open to all registered voters in the city.

This election is being conducted entirely by mail, but it's too late to send a ballot if you haven't done so already.

Instead, drop it off at these locations between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.:

  • Tucson City Clerk Elections Center, 800 E. 12th St.
  • El Pueblo Senior Center, 101 W. Irvington Road
  • Parks and Recreation Administration, 900 S. Randolph Way
  • Donna R. Liggins Recreation Center, 2160 N. 6th Ave.

Votes will be counted after polls close at 7 p.m.
