Congresswoman Giffords, Ten Others Wounded At Shooting in Northwest Tucson

Information is still coming in sporadically.

Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords has been shot. Giffords was giving a town hall meeting at Oracle and Ina in Tucson this morning when an unknown gunman stormed through the crowd and opened fire. 12 to 15 shots fired. A total of ten were reportedly taken away in an ambulance, including Congresswoman Giffords.

The extent of her injuries are as yet unknown. There are reports two people are dead, but nothing is substantiated yet. Christopher Conover and Peter Michaels are both at the scene.
