Tom Philabaum of Philabaum Glass Gallery and Studio is an artist and beloved Tucson icon. Since the '70's, he's spent his life in front of a 2100ºF glory hole, spinning molten glass on the end of an eight-foot-long blowpipe. After two back surgeries, two knee sugeries, and foot and shoulder surgery, he is nearing the end of a virtuoso and prolific journey in glass.
