Psychosis stopped Tommy’s life in its tracks. Then he found IMHR Epicenter, a unique mental health clinic in downtown Phoenix that aims to treat its clients with a holistic, whole-person approach. First developed at the University of Arizona, the Epicenter model has been shown to work—yet it’s been slow to gain support, in part due to health care policies that favor a more conventional approach to treatment.
