“Protecting our border is not a Republican or Democratic issue, it is an Arizona and an American issue, and that's why I will work with anyone to secure our border,” Hobbs said at the Mariposa port of entry in Nogales. “Just as I worked with this current administration to launch Task Force SAFE, I will work with the next one to deliver border security.”
In regards to Trump’s promise of mass deportations, Hobbs said she wouldn’t tolerate policies that terrorize communities or threaten Arizonans, and that she will respond once she knows details on the incoming administration’s actions.
