Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Bruce Cohen is considering requests from at least a dozen of 18 people indicted in April to dismiss charges of fraud, conspiracy and forgery.
While not a fake elector in Arizona, the indictment alleged Giuliani pressured Maricopa County officials and state legislators to change the outcome of Arizona’s results.
The remaining defendants — including Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, state Sen. Jake Hoffman, former U.S. Senate candidate Jim Lamon and Trump attorney Jenna Ellis — are scheduled to appear in court next month.
